Project Forty-Two is a modern interpretation of the current trend for greater density townhouse development. Architecturally speaking the design outcome plays heavily on the concepts created for Project Ninety-Six. The end result is a project that delivers on architectural design and sustainability whilst retaining sympathy with the local areas dominance of pitched roof form architecture.
was conceived initially as a flat roofed two storey development with inspiration drawn from the small number of flat roofed post war modernist homes in the local Bentleigh East area. Designed with large floor to ceiling expanses of glass and incorporating courtyard design due to block orientation the end result is a modernist interpretation of existing pitched roof post war homes in the Bentleigh East Area.
